چکیده
This paper presents the model of surface temperature variations, resulting from photothermal effect induced in a ?thin film ? highly absorbing layer? structure, where thin is irradiated. The influence optical absorption coefficient and sample thickness on gradient analyzed. It shown that, depending product these parameters (optical absorbance) described phenomenon inverse can occur, further influencing direction magnitude thermoelastic displacement.

15 صفحه اولImproving the optical properties of thin film plasmonic solar cells of InP absorber layer using nanowires
In this paper, a thin-film InP-based solar cell designed and simulated. The proposed InP solar cell has a periodic array of plasmonic back-reflector, which consists of a silver layer and two silver nanowires. The indium tin oxide (ITO) layer also utilized as an anti-reflection coating (ARC) layer on top. The design creates a light-trapping structure by using a plasmonic back-reflector and an an...
متن کاملNanocavity enhancement for ultra-thin film optical absorber.
A fundamental strategy is developed to enhance the light-matter interaction of ultra-thin films based on a strong interference effect in planar nanocavities, and overcome the limitation between the optical absorption and film thickness of energy harvesting/conversion materials. This principle is quite general and is applied to explore the spectrally tunable absorption enhancement of various ult...
متن کاملTemperature Gradient Effect on Gas Discrimination Power of a Metal-Oxide Thin-Film Sensor Microarray
The paper presents results concerning the effect of spatial inhomogeneous operating temperature on the gas discrimination power of a gas-sensor microarray, with the latter based on a thin SnO2 film employed in the KAMINA electronic nose. Three different temperature distributions over the substrate are discussed: a nearly homogeneous one and two temperature gradients, equal to approx. 3.3 C/mm a...
متن کاملEffect of Hydrogen on Surface Texturing and Crystallization on A-si:h Thin Film Irradiated by Excimer Laser
Hydrogenated amorphous silicon (a-Si:H) thin films have been considered for use in solar cell applications because of their significantly reduced cost compared to crystalline bulk silicon, however, their overall efficiency and stability are less than that of their bulk crystalline counterparts. Limited work has been performed on simultaneously solving the efficiency and stability issues of a-Si...
